Pakistan, New Zealand Clash in First ODI Today

ISLAMABAD: The first One Day International of the five-match series between New Zealand and Pakistan will be played on Thursday (today) at Rawalpindi cricket stadium at 3:30 PM.

Skipper Babar Azam would lead the home side. The One Day International series offers both sides an opportunity to learn from each other’s strengths and weaknesses ahead of the World Cup in India in October-November.

Earlier, the Tom Latham-led New Zealand team had surprised the home side by roaring back from 2-0 down to win the third and fifth matches, with the fourth abandoned after rain in the five-match T20I series.
