Pakistan, Norway to Jointly Prevent Incidents of Islamophobia

MUNICH: Pakistan and Norway have agreed to jointly work to prevent growing incidents of Islamophobia in the world.

The understanding was reached during a meeting between Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his Norwegian counterpart Anniken Huitfeldt on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany on Sunday.

Pakistan and Norway to promote bilateral coordination

Both the foreign ministers reiterated to promote bilateral coordination.

The Foreign Minister also held meeting with his counterpart from Kosovo Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz. During the meeting, the foreign ministers agreed to hold the second round of mutual political consultation at the earliest.

FM Bilawal said Pakistan and Kosovo have long and historical ties in diverse fields.

The two leaders also discussed boosting cooperation in several fields, including the exchange of manpower, tourism, education, health, and trade.
