ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Saturday opened the “Cascade” Police Service Centre in the capital to cater to the diplomatic community in the country.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, visited the newly established “Cascade” Police Service Centre in Islamabad’s Diplomatic Enclave, where they inspected the facilities.
The Cascade Service Centre, designed to international standards, is equipped with modern facilities to meet the specific needs of diplomats and foreign nationals.
During his visit, the Prime Minister commended the streamlined services, stating, “Providing all possible facilities to the diplomatic community is our priority.”
The centre offers a range of services, including the issuance and renewal of driving licenses, character certificates, general police verification, lost item reports, tenant and foreigner registration, and registration for domestic workers, volunteers, and vehicles.
Foreign nationals can also obtain copies of FIRs and access other essential police documentation.
During the visit, the Inspector General of Islamabad Police briefed the Prime Minister on the centre’s services and its operations.
