Pakistan PM Interacts with Oxford Union Students

LONDON: Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has interacted with the students at Oxford Union and discussed in detail the country’s economy, politics, security, and ties with neighbors, state media reported on Tuesday.

Oxford Union President Disha Hegde moderated the interactive Question and Answer session with the Prime Minister.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar took questions from the students of the University interacting with the next generation of leaders and scholars.

PM acknowledges Oxford’s pivotal role

He also signed the Visitors’ Book, acknowledging the institution’s pivotal role in shaping global discourse and leadership.

Earlier, he also visited the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, where he was welcomed by the Centre’s Director Dr Farhan Ahmad Nizami.

The Prime Minister visited different sectors of the Centre and was briefed on measures to promote intercultural understanding and the study of Islamic civilization.

The event marked a significant moment of intellectual exchange and dialogue, underscoring the Prime Minister’s commitment to building global partnerships and intellectual growth.
