Pakistan PM to Participate in 16th ECO Summit in Tashkent

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is set to embark on an official visit to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to participate in the 16th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit scheduled for November 8-9. 

During this summit, the Prime Minister will reiterate Pakistan’s dedication to ECO Vision 2025 and its support for enhancing regional collaboration in various sectors, including trade, transportation, connectivity, energy, tourism, and economic development and productivity.

This was announced in a statement by the Foreign Office Spokesperson on Tuesday.

PM to Present Pakistan’s Vision at Summit 

The Prime Minister will take the opportunity to present Pakistan’s vision for the organization’s future endeavors, emphasizing the importance of regional connectivity and shared prosperity. Additionally, he will engage in bilateral discussions with the leadership of Uzbekistan and other participating leaders.

Pakistan, as one of the founding members of ECO, maintains a strong commitment to the objectives of fostering connectivity and mutual prosperity in the ECO region.
