Chief Advisor to Pope Francis Invites Mushaal to Visit Vatican City

The Chief Advisor to Pope Francis extended an invitation to Mushaal to visit the Vatican City, encouraging her to convey a message of peace and interfaith harmony as a Muslim woman in the 21st century.

Emphasizing the need for mystical interpretations around the moderate and tolerant message of Islam, Mushaal highlighted the importance of presenting these ideas without altering the fundamental tenets of Islam or any other faith. The goal is to encapsulate these teachings with messages of love, tolerance, and moderation, drawing inspiration from the historical practices of Sufis. This approach seeks to prevent clashes of civilizations and address global conflicts.

Both sides agreed on the significant influence that religious leaders, as spiritual guides and moral authorities, wield over their followers. They underscored the potential for the collective voice of religious leaders to serve as a potent force for the peaceful resolution of issues affecting humanity, particularly highlighting crises such as the Palestine-Israel conflict and the Kashmiri issue.

They emphasized the priceless value of human lives, irrespective of factors such as caste, color, creed, religion, or nationality.
