Pakistan President Lauds Blind Cricket Team’s Performance

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, hosted the Pakistan Blind Cricket team on Monday, commending their contributions to bringing pride to Pakistan and showcasing the capabilities of differently-abled individuals on a global platform.

During the meeting held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, President Alvi praised the team for not only participating in tournaments but also serving as an inspiration to other blind cricketers.

He noted the significant attention and recognition blind cricket has garnered in Pakistan in recent years, attributing it to the proactive efforts of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Board in organizing and promoting contests.

Emphasizing the need to support and recognize the blind cricket team, President Alvi underscored the importance of acknowledging their remarkable achievements and efforts.

The team management provided the president with an overview of the team’s performance, while the team members expressed gratitude to President Alvi and First Lady Samina Alvi for their unwavering support and encouragement.
