ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will preside the meeting of the Council of Common Interests that to be held today, source said.
The Prime Minister summoned the meeting of CCI to discuss key issues about the new digital census in the country. Chief Ministers of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan and Federal ministers will attend the meeting.

A report about the new digital census recently conducted in the South Asian country will be presented during the CCI meeting. Sources said that the provinces will present their position on the digital census. Shehbaz Sharif has accepted a summary sent by Ministry of Planning wherein the ministry had requested to summon a meeting for approval of census result.

Local media reported that the Bureau of Statistics had compiled the results of census the same have been sent to the CCI seeking its endorsement.
