Pakistan Railways Plans Promoting Connectivity with Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Minister for Railways Shahid Ashraf Tarar said on Monday that Pakistan Railways has strategic plans to develop a railway network connecting Kohat to Kharlachi, promoting connectivity between Pakistan and neighboring Afghanistan.

During a meeting with French Ambassador Nicolas Galey, the minister said that the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway M-6 also represented investment prospects for France.

He said that the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) was actively broadening its scope, providing further avenues for investment.

Tarar said that the PNSC was undergoing an expansion, offering extensive investment opportunities for foreign investors, including French businessmen.

Envoy Highlights Pakistan-France Relations

The French envoy underlined the longstanding history of ties and cooperation between Pakistan and France.

He expressed interest in French investors in Pakistani projects, stressing the diverse investment possibilities available for French investors in Pakistan.

Ambassador Nicolas Galey conveyed his intent to increase French investments and inject substantial capital into Pakistan.
