ISLAMABAD: The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Director General Amy Pope met with Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on Thursday, a foreign ministry statement said.
During the meeting, the foreign minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the mandate of the IOM.
On this occasion, Jilani commended the IOM for its valuable efforts in Pakistan, particularly in the field of migration and providing humanitarian support in the aftermath of the devastating floods in 2022.
They also discussed IOM ongoing projects in Pakistan.
