ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office has strongly rejected any advice or offers with regards to talks between Pakistan and banned ‘Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP).
At her weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has reiterated that Pakistan has absolutely no interest in dialogue with terror groups, which are responsible for the killing of our security personnel and civilians.
She added that Islamabad believes that such suggestions are affront to the people who have lost their loved ones due to the activities of banned TTP.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Afghan authorities have the main responsibility to take action against the terror groups particularly the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) that are based in Afghanistan. She added Pakistan has also provided the Afghan authorities with solid evidence in this connection.
She stated that Islamabad has brought to the attention of the international community towards New Delhi’s extra territorial and extra judicial activities. Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed hope that the world will urge New Delhi to restrain from these activities in Pakistan and across the world.
