Pakistan, Russia Agree to Enhance Cooperation in Key Sectors

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Russia have agreed to enhance dialogue and cooperation in trade, industry, energy, connectivity, science, technology, and education.

This consensus was reached during delegation-level talks in Islamabad between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and his Russian counterpart, Alexei Overchuk.

The two sides reviewed the full range of bilateral cooperation and committed to ongoing coordination in multilateral forums, including the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Deputy Prime Minister Overchuk’s visit aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Vladimir Putin to transform bilateral relations into a strong and mutually beneficial economic partnership.
