Pakistan Security Forces Kill Four Terrorists in Khyber District

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces have killed four terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in the Bagh area of Khyber district in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military media wing said on Thursday.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the operation security troops effectively engaged terrorists’ location. Resultantly, four terrorists, including ring leader Batoor, were killed while three others got injured.

“The operation was conducted in the general area of Bagh, where own troops effectively engaged Khwarij (terrorists) location, resultantly killing four Khwarij, including Kharji ring leader Batoor, while three Khwarij got injured,” ISPR stated.

Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. “The security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country,” ISPR resolved.

Earlier this week, security forces killed three terrorists trying to infiltrate through the Afghanistan-Pakistan border in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan district.

On November 21 and 22, security forces killed three terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

ISPR said two terrorists, identified as Haqyar Afridi aka Khyberay and Gulla Jan, were killed during an intelligence-based operation in the Bara area of Khyber district.

In another operation, movement of a group of terrorists, who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was picked up by the security forces in the South Waziristan district. Resultantly, one terrorist was killed, while three others were injured, ISPR stated.
