ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday stated that it is in communication with US authorities regarding a Pakistani national allegedly linked to an assassination plot in the US.
Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated,” “We have seen the media reports. We are in touch with the US authorities and await further details. We have also noted the statements by US officials that this is an ongoing investigation,”.
Baloch emphasized the need for a thorough understanding of the individual’s background before providing an official response, highlighting that US officials have indicated the investigation is ongoing.
