ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Senate, at its emergency session on the Gaza genocide on Wednesday, strongly condemned the Israeli crimes against humanity and state terrorism being perpetrated against the innocent children, men, and women of Palestine living in the occupied Gaza Strip, the World’s biggest open prison.

The resolution moved by Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the leader of the House in the Senate, said that since the Holocaust of World War Two, no state has committed such carnage, mass killings, and war crimes with such unprecedented barbarity and brutality.

The resolution expressed full support and solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians while condemning the double standards and hypocrisy of those who are supporting Israel, as they are partners in crime since they also oppose an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Senate’s Resolution Reiterates Pakistan’s Principled Position

It further said that there can be no wavering from Pakistan’s principled policy based on supporting the inalienable right to self-determination of the people of Palestine and their right to an independent State with Jerusalem as its capital.

The resolution demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, an end to the Israel blockade of the Gaza Strip, and full access of the enclave to all international humanitarian organizations so that relief supplies, food, medicines, and water could be supplied to the beleaguered citizens.

It further demanded an end to Israeli aggression and occupation and the termination forthwith of all Israeli activities aimed at the desecration of the Holy places of Islam.
