NEW YORK: Pakistan has questioned the omission of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) from the latest annual report of the special representative of the United Nations Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict.
While speaking during the interactive dialogue in the Third Committee with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict, Rabia Ijaz, Second Secretary at the Pakistan Mission, termed the omission as unjust.
She went on to say that IIOJK is a region where grave violations against children are well-documented, including in the previous reports by the Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict.
