MANSEHRA: A large number of seasonal tourists from various parts of the country have started pouring into the picturesque valley of ‘Siran’ in the Mansehra district, which has become the most attractive destination for tourists.
About 30 kilometres northwest of Naran, a popular tourist spot in the Mansehra region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), is the magnificent valley known as the “majestic Siran Valley.” This valley attracts many tourists every summer due to its eye-catching scenic views.
A visitor from Punjab City claimed that the valley is a great spot to unwind and relax away from the rush of city life. A female hiker says summer is one of the best seasons to visit Siran Valley when the weather is excellent, and the valley is in full flower.
A tourist stated, “There is no doubt that Siran Valley is a well-known location for camping during the summer,” adding, “We are exploring its lovely surroundings and setting up camp in the valley.”
A local also explained that the name Siran Valley comes from the Siran River, which flows through the valley. This beautiful valley was known as Dara Bhogarmang, after the name of Bhogarmang village, also located in the centre of this valley.
The valley has many mesmerising and beautiful peaks, which are great for mountaineering and trekking, said a group of youth on a trekking tour. — APP
