Pakistan Sports Contingent Participating in Russia Games for First Time

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani sports contingent comprising cadets from three military colleges of the nation are taking in multiple sports events organized in Russian city, Tula for the first time under the auspices of International Military Sports Council.

Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in Moscow, said that the opening ceremony was held on Monday at Tula, Russia, which was witnessed by Russian Deputy Defence Minister, Yunus-bek Yevkurov as the guest of honour. It stated that Brig. Muhammad Asif Khan, Pakistan’s Defence Attaché to Russia was also among the honoured guests.

The delegation comprises three officers and fifteen cadets from Military College Murree, Military College Jhelum, and Military College Sui. The sports events will also include many track events, basketball, volley ball, and boxing competitions and will be continued till June 30, 2024.
