ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Friday reaffirmed its strong support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) after the nation announced its intention to host the mega event FIFA World Cup in 2034, official media reported.

“After the announcement by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) of its intention to host the FIFA World Cup in 2034, Islamabad affirms its full support for the Saudi bid to host the mega event,” Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson said.
It said Pakistan wished its Saudi brothers all success in this effort and was certain that KSA would host a most memorable world cup. As per media reports, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) announced that it would bid to host the 2034 World Cup after the football body invited nations from the Asia and Oceania regions to submit bids.
