Pakistan to Develop “Tourism App” to Enhance Tourist Experience

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s State Minister for Tourism, Wasi Shah, announced on Wednesday that the Ministry has started work on developing a “Tourism App” to enhance tourists’ experience.

This innovative application aims to offer one-click access to comprehensive information about tourist destinations, encompassing details on restaurants, hotels, transportation, travel amenities, cultural experiences, entertainment options, and historical sites.

Talking to journalists, Minister Wasi Shah promised to make it sure to regularly update the app so that it remains a valuable resource for tourists. He highlighted that the app’s primary objective is to provide tourists with all the essential information they need during their visit.

Tourism App Promises Authentic Information for Tourists

Minister Wasi Shah, in his capacity as the Minister of State for Tourism, expressed his dedication to taking concrete measures to boost tourism in Pakistan, with the ultimate goal of transforming the country into a tourist paradise.

He assured that the benefits of these efforts would soon be realized by tourists.

Furthermore, the minister stated that tourists visiting Pakistan will soon have access to an official application, granting them access to authentic information and direct contact with the state tourism department.

He expressed his delight at witnessing foreign tourists participating in the Culture Caravan event in Taxila and extended his gratitude to the public and the media for their overwhelming support.
