Pakistan to Host Blind Cricket T20 World Cup Later This Month

KARACHI: Pakistan will host for the 4th edition of the Blind Cricket T20 World Cup later this month in Lahore, reported state-run news agency APP on Friday.

The World Blind Cricket Council has released the schedule according to which the 4th edition of the Blind Cricket T20 World Cup will take place from November 23 to December 3 in Lahore, Pakistan.

The mega tournament will feature teams from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, Nepal, Afghanistan, and the host nation Pakistan. The India team will be defending their title.

The opening match will see South Africa take on Pakistan on November 23 at the Ghani Institute of Cricket Ground in DHA, Lahore. A highly anticipated clash between traditional rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled for November 25.

According to Syed Sultan Shah, President of World Blind Cricket Ltd, all participating foreign teams are expected to arrive by November 21. The opening ceremony will take place on November 22 in Lahore.

Lahore will host 15 matches throughout the tournament, including the opener, while the historic city of Multan will host 9 matches, culminating in both semi-finals and the final.
