Pakistan to Send Skilled Nurses to Qatari Medical Firm

ISLAMABAD: The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), an attached department of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, is set to dispatch a skilled workforce of Pediatric and Geriatric nurses to a Qatari medical firm during the current fiscal year.

According to an advertisement by the OEC, Tabeeb Care Medical Services in Qatar is in need of nursing staff specialized in Pediatric and Geriatric fields from Pakistan, presenting a promising employment opportunity for candidates possessing relevant qualifications and experience.

The job requirements specify candidates below 40 years of age with either a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (16 years qualification) or a post-RN diploma in nursing.

Moreover, aspiring candidates must be registered with the Nursing Council and possess a minimum of two years of experience from the registration date, with specialized experience in handling pediatric patients. The age limit for registered general Nurse-geriatric is also set below 40 years.

The employment package includes a two-year renewable employment contract, accommodation and transportation, annual leave as per Qatar Labour Law, joining and repatriation tickets, along with two-way air tickets for annual leave every two years.

Interested applicants are encouraged to apply through OEC’s website at https://oec.gov.pk/. Applicants are required to submit or attach a deposited bank challan amounting to Rs. 1000/- generated at the time of online application submission.

Established in 1976, OEC is the sole government organization facilitating overseas employment.

The organization offers nominal charges and provides one-window facilitation services, ensuring quick attestation of documents from all relevant departments/organizations, transparency, and exploitation-free services.

OEC operates nationwide with headquarters in Islamabad and regional offices in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta. The deadline for document submission is April 4, 2024.
