ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), in collaboration with the World Bank Group, is set to host a two-day Pakistan Tourism Symposium and Expo on May 27-28.
According to a PTDC official, the symposium will revolve around the theme of “Building National Economy through Tourism,” highlighting the pivotal role of tourism in economic development.
The event will feature a tourism expo aimed at showcasing Pakistan’s abundant tourism potential and fostering Government-to-Government (G2G), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Government-to-Business (G2B) linkages among industry stakeholders.
With the participation of over 400 national and international tourism professionals, industry experts, and decision-makers, the symposium seeks to facilitate discussions on charting a roadmap for the sustainable growth of Pakistan’s tourism industry.
Through this initiative, PTDC aims to harness the collective expertise and insights of diverse stakeholders to drive the tourism sector towards a path of sustainable development, thereby contributing to the overall economic prosperity of the nation.
