ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister Musadik Malik and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi on Tuesday agreed to boost partnership in the petroleum sector.
The UAE’s envoy Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi called on Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr Musadik Malik here in Islamabad.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest, especially cooperation in the energy sector.
Ambassador Obaid Al-Zaabi congratulated the minister on assuming his new role.
Pakistan-UAE ties
Dr Musadik Malik said that Pakistan and the UAE share long-standing relations with each other.
The envoy said that Pakistan-UAE relations were based on the principles of friendship and strong people-to-people contacts.
