ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, called on Pakistan Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar here at the Prime Minister House on Saturday.
The premier warmly welcomed Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and his delegation, extending best wishes to President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, Kakar highlighted the robust and longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and the UAE, emphasizing the continuous improvement of relations.
He pointed out the substantial progress achieved during his recent visit to the UAE, where numerous memorandums of understanding were signed, signaling the commencement of a new phase in Pak-UAE economic collaboration.
The premier noted that the UAE is home to 1.8 million Pakistanis who play a significant role in the development and prosperity of both nations.
PM Kakar stressed the importance of increased cooperation in aviation, tourism, and railway connectivity to foster people-to-people contact.
Reiterating the need for strengthened ties, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar emphasized the urgency to enhance cooperation, especially in aviation, tourism, and railway connectivity.
The UAE Minister of Foreign Trade expressed a commitment to further fortify trade relations with Pakistan.
