ISLAMABAD: UK Member of the House of Lords Baroness Sayeeda Warsi on Wednesday called on Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad and discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest came under discussion.
Both resolved to continue working together to further enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Britain in all areas of mutual interest, including trade and investment and people-to-people contacts.
Sayeeda Hussain Warsi is one of the well-known lawyers and politicians of Britain. She served as co-chairwoman of the Conservative Party from 2010 to 2012.
