Pakistan Urges Chinese Investors to Capitalize on Opportunities in IT, Agriculture

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Jam Kamal assured investors on Saturday that the government is committed to creating a conducive environment for business growth and foreign investment.

Speaking at the Pak-China Trade Conference in Karachi, Jam Kamal emphasized the government’s dedication to facilitating foreign investment to bolster the country’s economic development.

Jam Kamal highlighted Pakistan’s potential as a lucrative investment destination. “Our government is working diligently to provide a conducive environment for investors,” he stated. “We are committed to supporting foreign investors and making the process as smooth as possible to enhance business opportunities in Pakistan.”

The Commerce Minister pointed out that Pakistan offers a wealth of investment opportunities across various sectors, with particular emphasis on Information Technology (IT) and agriculture. “We believe that both the IT and agri sectors hold significant promise for growth and development,” Kamal said. He underscored the government’s efforts to attract international investment in these key areas to drive economic progress.

Kamal invited Chinese investors to explore the opportunities available in Pakistan. “We encourage Chinese investors to come forward and take advantage of the numerous investment prospects in our country,” he urged.

The Commerce Minister said Pakistan wants to use advanced technology and modern methods for the development of the agriculture sector in the country.
