ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has issued a precautionary advisory urging tourists to take safety measures while visiting vulnerable sites in the Northern areas.
The PTDC cautioned tourists about the influx of visitors from various parts of the country to enjoy the snowy landscapes and mountainous regions, leading to increased traffic on the roads.
An official from PTDC informed the press agency APP that tourists should use designated lanes to prevent accidents and inconvenience.
Travelers are advised to carry warm clothing, ensure their vehicles have full fuel tanks, and avoid unnecessary travel after 8:00 pm.
Furthermore, families with infants and individuals with asthma are advised against traveling to the Northern areas at this time.
