Pakistan, US Continue to Hold Consultations on a Range of Issues: FO

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the United States continued to hold consultations on a range of issues and to advance these consultations as well as exchange visits.

Responding to media questions, Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that several visits are taking place in the coming days.

Julieta Valls Noyes, the US Assistant Secretary for Population, Refugees, and Migration, is arriving in Pakistan on a 3-day visit from Monday, while Tom West, the US Special Representative on Afghanistan, will visit Islamabad on Thursday.

Likewise, the US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Horst will also be visiting Pakistan from 9 December.

Pakistan-US Dialogue Not Limited to Afghanistan

Zahra Baloch further said that these visits are part of ongoing dialogue with the US on a range of issues including, but not limited to the situation in Afghanistan.
