ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to PM on Revenue, Tariq Mahmood Pasha, on Friday lauded the US engagement with Pakistan in the financial, economic, and revenue areas. He hoped that the ongoing cooperation between Islamabad and Washington will further strengthen.
Pakistan-US ties
The Special Assistant was talking to a delegation of the US Embassy in Islamabad, who visited Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in Islamabad.
On the occasion, Chairman FBR also highlighted the areas of cooperation between Pakistan and the USA in terms of business and trade facilitation.
They also discussed the new tax provisions on the beverage industries and the Special Assistant and Chairman FBR assured the representatives of the companies that their valid concerns will be addressed on priority basis.
Member Inland Revenue – Policy was also present in the meeting.
