Pakistan Win Toss in Third Test Against Australia

SYDNEY: Pakistan won the toss and decide to bat first in the 3rd Test against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

It will be the 112th Test match at the SCG and also the 112th and final Test match for Australia opening batter David Warner. Pakistan cricket team captain Shan Masood hoped that they could put in a good first innings score against the host.

Following months of gossip regarding his place in the team, David Warner will get the send-off he desired in his home ground.

Warner goes into his final Test match having plundered around 8,695 runs at an average of 44.58, with 26 centuries and 36 fifties.

Pakistani side made two changes in the team. There is a Test debut for Saim Ayub, who will replace Imam-Ul-Haq while Sajid Khan will replace Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Australian cricket team have clinched the three-match series with a tense 79-run victory in the 2nd Test in Melbourne.
