KARACHI: Pakistan’s women’s cricket team celebrated a remarkable victory against South Africa’s women’s cricket team in the second T20I match, securing the series with a convincing seven-wicket win in Karachi.
The win gave Pakistan an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series, highlighting their exceptional skills and teamwork on the field.

Captain Sidra Ameen played a pivotal role in Pakistan’s success, leading from the front with a brilliant innings of 61 runs. Her exceptional knock guided Pakistan to successfully chase down a target of 151 runs, despite losing three wickets in the process.

In the second T20I, held at Karachi National Stadium, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. South Africa’s women’s team, in response to Pakistan’s invitation to bat, posted a total of 150 runs for the loss of three wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Notable contributions came from Tazmin Brits with 46 runs and captain Wolvaardt with 41 runs.
On the bowling front, Sadiya Iqbal and Nashra Sandhu each claimed a wicket for Pakistan.
