Pakistan Women’s Team Ready to Take on England

LAHORE: Pakistan women’s cricket team is ready to take on England in the first of the three-match T20I series starting on Saturday at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham, local media reported.

The 2nd and 3rd T20Is will be played in Northampton and Leeds on next Friday and Saturday, respectively. Three ODIs; part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25, will be held from May 23 to 29 in Derby, Taunton and Chelmsford, a statement said.

Pakistan women’s team skipper, Nida Dar stated, “We have been working hard to fine-tune our expertise as well as strategies ahead of this series. Each member of the team has also showcased great dedication and discipline during the practice ahead of the match, and I have complete faith in their skills to deliver in the upcoming series.”

She said that playing against a top team like England is always a tough challenge, but it is also a great opportunity for the players to test themselves against the best in the world. She further said that the series will help them to identify key players for the next T20 World Cup.
