KARACHI: Senior Pakistani actress Shagufta Ejaz’s husband Yahya Siddiqui passed away on Thursday after battling with cancer for five long years.
The star shared the tragic news through her Instagram handle. She also posted a picture of her husband on her social media account.
“My husband Yahya Siddiqui has passed away. Kindly recite surah Fatiha for his maghfirat,” she wrote on the social platform.
Many social media users including the showbiz fraternity offered their condolences to the grieving family.
It is to be noted here that Shagufta Ejaz’s husband suffered from cancer for several years and had been receiving treatment at a private hospital in Karachi. The actor frequently shared updates regarding his health in her vlogs.
Shagufta Ejaz married Siddiqui a few years ago, marking their second marriage. Both have two daughters together, while they also have children from previous marriages.
