ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress and model Fiza Ali has been in the social media limelight after the reports of her alleged marriage, however, the celebrity has clarified about her marital status in a recent video statement.
While setting the record straight in a video statement shared on her official Instagram page, Fiza Ali dispelled the misinformation in a candid manner.
In a video reel, Fiza Ali began by greeting her followers and acknowledging the persistent interest in her personal life. She humorously remarked, “For those worried about my marriage,” before launching into a witty rebuke aimed at those behind the false reports.
The television host expressed disbelief at the extent of concern over her marital status, stating, “All of you are extremely worried about my marriage. You’re all here just to get me married off, and some of you might have even arranged dowry for me.”
Fiza Ali then turned the tables on the rumour-mongers, advising them to redirect their attention to the marital status of their “unmarried sisters” instead of perpetuating baseless rumours about her.
Asserting her independence in making personal decisions, Fiza Ali declared that she would reveal details about her future partner whenever she decided to get married. She also criticized media outlets and social media platforms for sensationalizing her personal life for the sake of cheap popularity.
“These ordinary YouTubers and even big TV channels are using my name to gain popularity by spreading false news about my ‘marriage’,” Fiza Ali stated emphatically.
Reflecting on the absurdity of the rumours, the actress questioned whether she would need to get married wherever she traveled for work or vacation. She expressed frustration at being constantly tagged in pictures and posts about alleged wedding events, urging her followers and the media to refrain from such antics.
Fiza Ali, who gained fame for her role in the PTV classic drama serial “Mehndi,” emphasized the emotional toll of such false reports, highlighting how they can affect her personally.
The actress clarified that she had previously been married to Fawad Farooq in 2007, with whom she has a daughter, before they later separated.
