ISLAMABAD: Mahira Khan has tied the knot with a business tycoon, Salim Karim in an elegant ceremony.
Pictures and videos flooded social media on Sunday night, confirming the nuptials of the Humsafar actor with businessman Salim Karim.
Khan graced the occasion in a stunning ivory dress, reminiscent of a Faraz Manan design, while her husband looked sharp in a classic black sherwani.
According to reports, the wedding unfolded in Bhurban, with a select group of close friends and family in attendance for an intimate gathering. The superstar had publicly disclosed her romantic involvement in 2020, initially on Rewind with Samina Peerzada and later in more detail during an Instagram live session hosted by fashion mogul Hassan Sheheryar Yasin.

During an interview with Peerzada, Khan, visibly bashful and shy, affirmed being in love with someone special and disclosed that he wasn’t from the entertainment industry. Reflecting on her feelings, she shared a quote from Humsafar, expressing, “There’s a line in Humsafar which I thought was beautiful, where Ashar says to Khirad, ‘Pata nahi tum mujhay kis naiki ke badlay mein mili ho’ (I don’t know which good deed of mine led to you), and I think the same about him. I must have done something good in my life that God has sent him my way,” Mahira conveyed to Hassan Sheheryar Yaseen (HSY).
Having been previously married and blessed with a son named Azlaan, Mahira expressed immense gratitude for her child, stating, “He’s the centre of my world. My world revolves around him, and I feel the same way about Salim.”
