ISLAMABAD: Renowned Pakistani actor Meera has taken to social media, urging women to actively participate in the upcoming general elections scheduled to be held on February 8, 2024, across the country.
In a video message shared on X, formerly Twitter, Meera emphasized the significance of Pakistani women’s role in bringing about societal change through their votes.
Currently in New York with her family, Meera revealed that election discussions were prevalent even in her family, aligning with the ongoing political atmosphere. In the video, she stated, “I was discussing with my father that Pakistani women must cast their votes because their role in changing a society is very important.”

The actress appealed to Pakistani women, saying, “You must cast your vote on February 8 with your families, vote for your favorite political leader, and exercise your right.
