WASHINGTON: In a commendation of exceptional achievements, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan, celebrated the success stories and substantial contributions of Pakistani-American entrepreneurs and professionals during a gathering in Washington. The ambassador recognized the impact of their achievements not only within the United States but also globally, acknowledging the resonance of their reputation back to Pakistan.
Ambassador Khan emphasized the direct and indirect contributions of these entrepreneurs and professionals to the strengthening of Pak-US relations. Their pivotal role in fostering economic development in Pakistan was underscored, and the ambassador encouraged them to continue making positive strides in both their adopted country and their homeland.
Dr. Sohail Masood, CEO of KabaFusion and recipient of the Entrepreneur of The Year 2023 National Award, and Ms. Ambreen Mirza, President & CEO of OPEN Global, were singled out for special recognition. Dr. Sohail Masood shared the inspiring journey of KabaFusion, highlighting its evolution into a leading healthcare provider in the United States. He announced an ongoing acquisition process that would elevate KabaFusion’s value to an impressive $4 billion.
Ambreen Mirza shared the accomplishments of OPEN Global, an organization that originated 25 years ago with a small group of technology entrepreneurs in Boston. Now boasting a network of over 100,000 individuals across five continents and chapters in eight countries, OPEN engages entrepreneurs and professionals in critical sectors such as healthcare, education, climate change, and more.
Zaina Bankwalla, Chair of OPEN Washington DC chapter, extended an invitation to Pakistani-American entrepreneurs and professionals to join the OPEN fraternity. She emphasized the benefits of becoming part of the organization’s network.
