ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan had a phone call with Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, to congratulate him on his new role.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Sharif praised Professor Yunus for his contributions to Bangladesh’s socio-economic development and expressed sympathy for the recent flood devastation in Bangladesh.
The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations through enhanced cooperation in various sectors. Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the historical, cultural, and religious ties between the two nations and expressed a strong desire to boost trade, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people connections.
Both leaders agreed to work closely for the progress and prosperity of their nations and emphasized the importance of regional cooperation to improve the lives of people across South Asia.
