Pakistani Cricketer Mohammad Wasim Jr. Ties the Knot

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan pace bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr. tied the knot in Makkah, Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

The cricketer shared photos from Makkah where the nikkah ceremony took place.

Taking to Instagram, Wasim Jr. posted several pictures, including one of the couple holding hands and another inside the Grand Mosque of Makkah.

Congratulations poured in from fans in the comments, wishing the newlyweds happiness and prosperity in their new journey together.

Originally from North Waziristan, Mohammad Wasim Jr. represented the Quetta Gladiators in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he took nine wickets in eight matches, averaging 33 with an economy rate of 9.90.

Despite his performance, he was not selected for the Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup 2024, with Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Amir preferred.

Wasim Jr. recently faced a setback due to a back injury during a domestic tournament and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.
