KHANEWAL: A Pakistani surgeon has successfully removed a massive 15kg tumour from a woman’s body during a complicated surgery at District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in the Khanewal, local media reported on Friday.
Sources affiliated with the hospital told media that Dr Rashid Minhas performed surgery on Haseena Bibi, 27, and successfully removed the tumour.

They said that the patient is in the recovery phase and her family expressed great delight and gratitude towards the doctor on this success.
It is pertinent to mention that a tumour is a hard mass of tissue that develops when abnormal cells group together. Tumours can affect bones, glands, organs, skin and tissue. Many tumours are not cancer but they may still need treatment.
