ZÜRICH: Rising football talent Sajawal Maher of Pakistani origin has been formally included in the Switzerland Under-18 national team. At just 17, Maher has secured a place in an upcoming U-18 tournament set to take place in France. He also possesses the eligibility to represent Pakistan in international matches.
Maher will have the opportunity to join Pakistan’s national team until he confirms a position on Switzerland’s senior international roster.
The head coach of the Pakistan football team, Stephen Constantine has expressed a keen interest in bringing Maher into the fold for future team selections. Born in 2007 in Sargodha, this talented attacking midfielder is rapidly gaining recognition in the sports worldwide.
