RABAT: A Pakistani non-governmental organization (NGO), Faizan Global Relief Foundation Dawat-e-Islami (FGRF), has started relief activities in the earthquake-hit areas of Morocco to provide food and medical aid to the impacted communities.

Syed Fuzail Shah, Spokesperson of the Foundation, said on Sunday that Alhamdulillah FGRF has preferred to do practical work, and its workers have just served the affected families in Syria, Turkiye, and Pakistan and are still trying to support them. With the same spirit, once again, the NGO has gone out into the field of action to become the arms of this suffering Ummah of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) stuck in tough time in Morocco and relief activities in the earthquake-hit areas of Morocco.

Syed Fuzail Shah, while appealing to Muslims all over the globe, also said that there have been thousands of deaths and that over 0.3 million people have been affected by the disaster.

Pakistani NGO’s Relief Operations

He said that since FGRF has experience in rescue and relief in Turkiye, Syria, Malawi, Pakistan, Tanzania, and other countries around the world where disasters have occurred, they can support search and rescue operations in Morocco as well.

He added that first of all, it was taken into consideration what the basic needs are, and it was seen that people in Libya are suffering from a shortage of food and water. So, delivery has also been done.
