ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani showbiz industry stars condoled the loss of film director and legendary actor Talat Hussain, who passed away at the age of 83 in Karachi after battling a prolonged illness

Actor Javed Sheikh expressed profound grief over the loss of Talat Hussain, highlighting his stature not just as an artist but also as a noble individual. Sheikh reminisced about their early days together in radio and television, recalling Talat’s unparalleled knowledge and unique portrayal of characters in both English and Urdu films. He remarked that Talat’s name resonated not only in Pakistan but also in the UK and Indian entertainment industries.

Usman Peerzada, a notable figure in Pakistani cinema, expressed sorrow and said that Talat Hussain’s unparalleled legacy would remain unmatched. He offered prayers for the departed soul and extended condolences to the grieving family.

Ahmed Shah, president of the Karachi Arts Council, mourned Talat’s passing, highlighting his significant contributions to the Pakistan Arts Council and his mentorship of aspiring actors. He described Talat as an educated man and a philosopher.

Senior actor Sohail Ahmed expressed profound sadness over Talat’s demise, recalling his immense kindness and affection for his juniors. Sohail Ahmed praised Talat’s contributions to Pakistani television and urged industry members to match his commitment to excellence.

Bushra Ansari, another veteran actor, expressed deep sorrow over Talat Hussain’s death, describing it as a huge loss for the Pakistani showbiz industry.
