Pakistani Star Ali Zafar Announces Cash Reward for Arshad Nadeem

LAHORE: Renowned Pakistani singer Ali Zafar has announced a reward of one million to Arshad Nadeem, who won the Gold Medal at the Paris Olympics 2024.  The songwriter appealed to the Government of Pakistan to establish a sports academy in Arshad’s name. Moreover, he requested a heroic welcome for Arshad Nadeem, who made a new world record with his massive 92.97m throw at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Ali Zafar congratulated Arshad Nadeem on his official X page, as he wrote, “@ArshadOlympian1 breaks record with 92.97 and wins gold for Pakistan! I shall be honoring him with a one million rupees reward through@AliZFoundation (sic).”

He further wrote, “Let’s show our heroes the celebration they deserve. I urge @GovtofPakistan @CMShehbaz to welcome him like a hero and establish a sports academy in his name. If our athletes and sportsmen start getting the support, they deserve we can win 10 golds a year (sic).”

27-year-old Arshad Nadeem made his country proud by winning Pakistan’s first-ever track and field medal. This is country’s first medal in 32 years at an Olympic event. To win the Olympic Gold in Paris, Arshad beats Neeraj Chopra from India.  Neeraj had earlier won Gold at the Tokyo Olympics but secured silver at the Paris Olympics.
