LISBON: A young Pakistani student has been murdered in Portugal during a robbery incident, local media reported. The family members of the late students have appealed to the government of Pakistan to help in bringing the dead body home for burial.
Sources said that the deceased Anthony Shawkat had arrived to Portugal for a cancer research project. As per media reports, the robbers stollen his mobile, cash and laptop and murdered him. The late student had obtained a master degree from Sweden and a Ph.D from Germany.
