ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with his Syrian counterpart Hussein Arnous on Saturday and discussed Pakistan’s relief activities for Syria’s people affected by the earthquake.
The Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow and regretted to Hussein Arnous over the severe loss of life and property caused by the earthquake in Syria. The Prime Minister expressed his condolences on the death of Honourable Hussein Arnos’s wife, his eleven children, and grandchildren and prayed for patience and patience for the bereaved.
The Prime Minister further said that the tragic loss of precious lives and massive damage to property in the severe earthquake in Syria deeply saddened Pakistan’s government and the people.
PM Shehbaz informed about quake relief efforts of Pakistan
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif informed about the relief efforts of Pakistan for the earthquake victims of Syria and said that he immediately instructed relevant institutions to provide all possible help and support to our Syrian brothers in this difficult time.
The ambassador of Pakistan to Syria is in close contact with the Syrian authorities. Pakistan has already sent a plane containing tents, warm clothes, and blankets to Syria for the earthquake victims. Apart from this, a medical team from Pakistan will go to Syria very soon to provide medical aid to the injured.
He further said that Pakistan would send a convoy of trucks full of relief goods for the earthquake victims of Syria very soon. The Prime Minister assured the Syrian Prime Minister that Pakistan would help its Syrian brothers and sisters in all possible ways during this difficult time.
