FAISALABAD: A delegation of Pakistani Ulema on Wednesday visited Jaranwala and condemned the vandalism of Churches and Christians’ homes a few days ago.
The delegation included Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Central Secretary General Jamiat Ulema Islam, Senator Hafiz Abdul Kareem, Maulana Amjad Khan, Maulana Owais Noorani, Hafiz Naseer Ahmad Ahrar, Maulana Abu Tarab, and others.
Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, while expressing solidarity with the Christian community, strongly condemned the attack on churches and homes of the Christian community.
Investigation into Jaranwala Tragedy
He said that the tragedy would be probed transparently, and the elements involved in this brutal act would be punished.
He said that as a nation, the people would have to think about how to control such incidents.
