Pakistan’s Ambassador Presents Hilal-i-Quaid-i-Azam Medal to IsDB Chairman

JEDDAH: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq on Tuesday presented the ‘Hilal-i-Quaid-i-Azam’ medal to the Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank Group Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser, at the bank’s headquarters in Jeddah.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from Pakistan’s missions in Saudi Arabia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

‘Hilal-i-Quaid-i-Azam’ Medal Among Pakistan’s Highest Civil Awards

The ‘Hilal-i-Quaid-i-Azam’ medal is one of Pakistan’s highest civil awards which is conferred on foreign nationals for special merit or their eminent services to Pakistan.

The President of Pakistan had conferred this medal on Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser for his instrumental role and for IsDB Group’s leadership in supporting the economic and development agenda of Pakistan and backing it at important world forums.
