RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, visited the Tilla Field Firing Ranges near Jhelum on Wednesday, where he witnessed Field Fire and Battle Drills, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.
During his visit, General Syed Asim Munir was briefed about the training objectives outlined for the exercise, aimed at assessing the operational readiness of the military formation in the face of challenging environments. The exercise aimed to validate the coordination and preparedness of the armed forces for potential real-world scenarios.

The COAS appreciated the remarkable synergy demonstrated by the Air Force, Army Aviation, and ground troops in successfully executing various operational drills. The collaborative effort showcased the effectiveness of integrated military operations.
Pakistan’s Army Chief Lauds Troops
According to ISPR, General Syed Asim Munir expressed his appreciation for the combat proficiency and offensive spirit exhibited by the troops. He commended their dedication and the high morale they exhibited during the drills. The COAS also recognized the troops’ readiness to engage in battle, highlighting their strong commitment to safeguarding the nation’s security.
Upon his arrival at the Tilla Field Firing Ranges, General Syed Asim Munir was welcomed by Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza, the Commander of Four Corps.
